FRACTAL FORMS

Visually the works are inspired by concepts like perishability and growth. How demolition can be an opportunity to growth. How, when something falls apart, new forms of growth emerge, and a landscape of juxtaposed asynchronous moments arises characterized by a kind of recycling memory. How to use impermanence and decay as material and immaterial values.
The monochromatic works is an attempt to crystalize nature’s underlying structures; natural fractals, which are characterized by gradually erosion by wind, water, or other natural agents. In a similar way the compost compositions is a way to visualize a lived infrastructure; a system of waste, decay and recycling focusing on, how compost/organic matter can improve growth and sustainability.
